Accrington moved into the Sky Bet League Two automatic promotion places with an excellent 2-0 win at Luton thanks to second-half goals from Scott Brown and Terry Gornell.
The visitors were the better side throughout, as Josh Windass whistled a shot past the post early on, while Hatters' Cameron McGeehan tried from range, scuffing well wide.
Both teams had plenty of chances early on as Jack Marriott fired straight at goalkeeper Ross Etheridge from close range, while Gornell could not turn home Sean McConville's low cross.
Josh McQuoid somehow blasted over from five yards when Etheridge parried Marriott's low attempt.
Home keeper Elliot Justham made an excellent low stop from Windass' angled volley, while McGeehan was only narrowly off target from Jonathan Smith's cross.
Gornell then put a header just over the top from the dangerous Piero Mingoia's delivery before, in the second period, Accrington led on 47 minutes as Windass burst clear on the right flank to see his cross slotted home by Brown.
The Hatters did not look like finding a way back, substitute Paul Benson heading wide from a corner, while Gornell broke away to shoot off target for the visitors.
Windass tried an ambitious free-kick before the visitors sealed the win with seven minutes to go when Gornell met Tariqe Fosu's excellent cross with a glancing header.
Fosu almost had a third, narrowly wide after a mazy run, but by then Luton were well beaten.
