Strevens brace helps Daggers to win
Lincoln lost out to in-form Dagenham as a superb second-half performance secured a 3-1 victory for John Still's men at Sincil Bank.
City went ahead in the 18th minute when teenager Lennie John-Lewis struck home a first-time shot, but Lincoln then lost their way after experienced defender Frank Sinclair limped off with a leg injury.
Dagenham were completely on top after half-time but had to wait until the 66th minute for their equaliser.
Lincoln keeper Rob Burch failed to hold a cross and Ben Strevens hooked the ball into the net.
And the visitors eventually established a lead in the 79th minute when Strevens stole in front of the Lincoln defence to head home.
Lincoln's defending deteriorated rapidly and they were caught out again in the last minute when Strevens beat Burch to set up Paul Benson for an easy third goal.
