Uribe and Sardo strike to salvage 2-2 draw
Juventus surrendered a two-goal lead to draw with Chievo and increase the pressure on manager Luigi Delneri.
Delneri's future has been the subject of speculation for some time but a seven-match unbeaten run going into Monday's home clash had given Juve hope of securing a top-six finish and European qualification.
Juve looked to be on track for another vital victory as Alessandro del Piero broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 13th minute following a foul by Marco Andreolli on Simone Pepe.
Alessandro Matri then doubled Juve's lead early in the second half, before Chievo mounted their impressive fightback.
Substitute Fernando Uribe reduced their arrears on 68 minutes and Gennaro Sardo then struck just a minute later to salvage a 2-2 draw.
The result leaves Juve seventh, three points adrift of Lazio, while Chievo are 12th in the Serie A standings with just a couple of games remaining.
