Hearts boss Robbie Neilson will leave it to Osman Sow to decide whether he faces Hibernian in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
The Swedish striker is on the verge of sealing a £1.5m transfer to Henan Jianye in China, and could make his last appearance for the Jambos in the Edinburgh derby.
New signings Don Cowie, John Souttar and Abiola Dauda should all feature at some stage in the fifth-round tie at Tynecastle.
Forward Jamie Walker and midfielder Sam Nicholson are available again following recent knee injuries, while Blazej Augustyn returns from a ban.
Fellow defender Igor Rossi is still suspended though, following his red card in the recent match against Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership.
Hibernian manager Alan Stubbs takes his team on the short trip across Edinburgh for the second time in a week, with confidence soaring.
Stubbs watched his side seal a place in the League Cup final with a victory over St Johnstone at Tynecastle, claiming his third Premiership scalp in the competition, having also beaten Aberdeen and Dundee United.
But Hibs will be without midfielder Fraser Fyvie, who is struggling with a slight medial ligament injury, as they look to beat another top-flight team.
Stubbs is hoping centre-back Liam Fontaine, who went off in the 1-0 midweek win at Morton with a tight hamstring, proves his fitness for the tie of the round.
