Three goals in a devastating 10-minute spell just after half-time helped Luton storm to a 4-1 win at Exeter and take over at the top of the Sky Bet League Two table.
Exeter started well with Jayden Stockley hitting the bar inside the first few seconds, but James Collins opened the scoring after nine minutes for Luton when he converted from close range.
Exeter levelled after 22 minutes when a Stockley flick on went to Jake Taylor and he curled a delicious shot beyond the dive of Marek Stech and into the far corner.
Exeter then missed a string of excellent chances to go into the break in front and they were made to pay for their profligacy as Luton ran riot after the break.
The Hatters went back in front after 47 minutes when Exeter failed to clear a corner and Dan Potts lashed in the loose ball.
It was 3-1 in the 52nd minute when Danny Hylton beat Craig Woodman all too easily and hammered a shot past Christy Pym at the near post and Luton made it four after 55 minutes when Hylton crossed and Harry Cornick tapped in from close range.
