Saunders, Benson and Strevens goals seal vital win
A wonder goal by Sam Saunders helped Dagenham defeat play-off rivals Bradford 3-0 at Victoria Road.
With 57 minutes gone, the winger cut in from left flank to curl a shot past Rhys Evans and into the top corner from just inside the penalty area.
It was Saunders' third strike in three games and just reward for the Daggers' attacking second-half performance.
Scott Griffiths almost made it 2-0 within moments, but his close-range header from a Saunders corner bounced back off the bar.
Bradford almost found a way back into the game but Lee Bullock's glancing header rebounded off the post with Daggers keeper David Button beaten.
The advantage was doubled after 81 minutes, when Ben Strevens broke the offside trap and set up Paul Benson, who coolly stroked home his 18th of the season.
And it was Strevens who sealed the win with four minutes remaining, as he nipped in ahead of Evans to a back pass to slot the ball into the empty net.
The win sees the Daggers leapfrog Bradford up to ninth in the table - just three points off the play-offs with a game in hand - while the Bantams now languish in 11th, four points from seventh place.
