Wednesday 1 January 2025 18:37, UK
Stoppage-time goals from Omar Bogle and Jack Lankester earned Crewe a dramatic 3-2 win over Carlisle at Gresty Road.
Kadeem Harris' strike appeared to have handed the visitors victory but Bogle's header levelled matters in the third minute of time added on before Lankester snatched all three points five minutes later.
Jack Ellis had netted his first senior goal as Mike Williamson's side edged ahead in the first half only for Chris Long to level for the Railwaymen soon after.

Carlisle were rewarded for their strong start when Harrison Biggins lofted a free-kick to the back post which was met by Ellis, whose downward header flew up off the turf to loop over Crewe goalkeeper Filip Marschall in the 21st minute.

But Crewe were level within 11 minutes when Long latched onto a long ball from Jamie Knight-Lebel and while keeper Gabriel Breeze came off his line to block the striker's effort, the loose ball looped onto the underside of the bar and in.
Carlisle grabbed the lead again in the 78th minute after substitute Harris stole the ball just outside the box and slipped in Luke Armstrong, who squared a return for the midfielder to finish from eight yards.
Bogle missed a great chance to level in stoppage time when he fired a rebound effort wide after Jack Powell's shot was spilled by the keeper.
However, the big striker made amends when he headed home a lofted cross and then Lankester headed in at the far post from Matus Holicek's cross in a stunning finish to the game.
