Rochdale bounced back from their FA Cup defeat against Stoke to earn a 2-2 draw against Coventry on Saturday.
Twice Dale came back from behind as Coventry's two new loan signings both found the net. Steven Pressley was desperate to boost his firepower to arrest the club's recent slide and it worked when Dominic Samuel put them in front in the 24th minute. The Reading frontman netted sharply after skipper Jim O'Brien had been stopped in his tracks by a fine diving save from Joshua Lillis. It was harsh on the keeper that the ball fell to Samuel, but his first time finish gave Lillis no chance. Midfielder Callum Camps brought the visitors back into it just nine minutes later with a wonderfully judged first time shot from the edge of the area. Coventry's second loanee Sanmi Odelusi restored the home team's advantage seven minutes from the interval when he wriggled himself some room on the edge of the area and drove a right-footed shot home. But substitute Calvin Andrew ensured a point for Keith Hill's man with a 65th-minute header.
