Bristol City maintained their five-point lead at the top of League One after a 3-1 win at Coventry.
Goals from Marlon Pack, Kieran Agard and Scott Wagstaff were to enough to retain their unbeaten start to the season, while Shaun Miller was on target for Coventry. The visitors took the lead after 11 minutes when Pack capitalised on some defensive uncertainty and fired in his first goal for the club - a powerful effort from 25-yards into the bottom corner. In first-half injury time, Agard netted City's second after Coventry defenders Andy Webster and Jordan Willis failed to clear a long ball and the striker's deft touch past on-rushing goalkeeper Ryan Allsop found the far corner. The Sky Blues were back in the game with 15 minutes to go when two substitutes combined - James Maddison's incisive through ball found Shaun Miller who blasted the ball in from ten-yards. But City's own substitute Wagstaff made sure of three points for his side after late Coventry pressure with a venomous strike in the 90th minute. The result secured the Robins' unbeaten start to their league campaign and extended Coventry's winless run to six matches.
