Mousinho and McGleish earn Wycombe win
Chester's poor start to the season continued as they slipped to a 2-0 defeat to Wycombe.
After conceding six goals in their opening game at Dagenham last weekend and then five at home to Leeds in the Carling Cup in midweek, the Blues were sunk by a goal in each half.
John Mousinho opened the scoring in the 26th minute when a long ball from Craig Woodman went straight to the striker who lifted it over stranded goalkeeper John Danby.
Chester twice went close in the second half through Ryan Lowe who was denied on two occasions by Scott Shearer.
Wycombe doubled their advantage in the 66th minute when they were awarded a penalty which was converted by Scott McGleish after Chris Zebroski had been brought down in the box by Laurence Wilson.
It could have been worse for Chester had Leon Johnson's header not cannoned back off the crossbar late on as Wycombe claimed a deserved victory.
