Louis Moult scored twice as struggling Motherwell came from behind to beat Celtic 2-1 in the biggest upset of the day in the Scottish Premiership.
And the Steelmen secured their first victory at Celtic Park since 2008 with a superb second half display which stunned the home side.
In a first half of few chances Nadir Ciftci had an effort disallowed after Connor Ripley spilled Nir Bitton's shot, but the Celtic striker was ruled offside.
At the other end of the pitch Jozo Simunovic cleared the ball from in front of goal to prevent Marvin Johnson's cross reaching Scott McDonald as the visitors threatened on the counter-attack.
Celtic started the second half with some purpose but were almost caught out when Lionel Ainsworth pounced on a slip from youngster Kieran Tierney and strode through on goal to chip the ball over the advancing Craig Gordon and the bar, with the unmarked McDonald screaming for a pass.
Within a minute Celtic opened the scoring as Tom Rogic showed great composure the slip the ball through the legs of a defender and lay a pass back to Bitton to blast in from 12 yards with the aid of a deflection.
But Motherwell responded four minutes later when Moult pounced from close-range to clip home a low driven cross from Johnson.
The game was turned around on 59 minutes as former Celtic striker McDonald was clattered in the box by Simunovic and Moult kept his composure to confidently net the resulting penalty by sending Gordon the wrong way.
Moult almost completed a hat-trick when the feisty McDonald out-muscled Dedryck Boyata and forced a save from Gordon but Motherwell's star of the day stuck the rebound over the bar.
As expected Celtic responded and Ripley produced a superb finger-tip save from a powerful Kris Commons shot.
Bitton was denied a double when his near post flick from a corner was blocked by an unaware Motherwell defender and later Ben Hall cleared off the line from Mikael Lustig.
But Motherwell could easily have added a third but for another fine save from Gordon to keep out a measured Johnson shot.
Celtic brought on Carlton Cole and Scott Allan and the former caused the Motherwell defence some discomfort, almost setting up Bitton with a knock down and later heading wide after beating Ripley at a corner.
