McCall's men back on track
Promotion-chasing Bradford ended their three-match run without a win by deservedly beating Macclesfield 1-0 at Valley Parade.
The only goal of the game came on the hour when on-loan midfielder Dean Furman took a return pass from Michael Boulding to score with a low left-foot shot from 10 yards.
Up until then, defensively-minded Macclesfield had frustrated the Stuart McCall's side, restricting them to a handful of chances as Bradford failed to turn their superiority into goals.
Macclesfield showed a more positive approach after going behind and Lee Bell twice tested goalkeeper Rhys Evans in the closing stages.
But Bradford also went close to increasing their lead as they ran out deserved winners.
