Bochum go down 2-1 at home
Eintracht Frankfurt came from behind to win 2-1 at Bochum and climb one place to seventh.
Bochum went into the game in desperate need of points, having slipped towards the relegation zone on the back of a three-match losing run.
And the hosts made a perfect start as Lewis Holtby broke the deadlock after just ten minutes.
But Frankfurt have proved to be a resilient outfit all season and they equalised in the 29th minute through Marco Russ.
Brazilian midfielder Caio then fired Frankfurt ahead on 64 minutes and Bochum were unable to respond.
The result leaves Bochum hovering just four points above the bottom three ahead of the rest of the weekend's action.
Frankfurt, meanwhile, will hope to maintain their form and seal European qualification by finishing at least fifth.
