Mikel San Jose's stoppage-time winner completed a late comeback for Athletic Bilbao who were 2-1 winners at home to 10-man Celta Vigo.
The dangerous Iago Aspas' 10th league goal of the season put the visitors ahead on 54 minutes but 10 minutes from time team-mate Facundo Roncaglia was sent off after he conceded a penalty.
Aritz Aduriz converted the spot-kick and, urged on by the home crowd at San Mames Stadium, San Jose found a last-gasp winner to move Athletic up a place to seventh in LaLiga while the visitors stayed in 13th.
Celta were first to threaten a goal, Aspas hitting the bar with a left-footed shot from the right side of the box.
The hosts came into the game as the half progressed, Aduriz's header forcing Ruben Blanco to save as half-time approached.
Aspas dominated the early minutes of the second period, first hitting the right post with a shot from the centre of the area and then firing home from another central position, again left-footed. He found the bottom-left corner after getting on the end of Theo Bongonda's cross.
Blanco was called upon on the hour to save from Iker Muniain and five minutes later from Inaki Williams as Bilbao pushed for an equaliser.
Aspas again went close soon after, forcing Kepa Arrizabalaga into another stop.
The penalty came in the 80th minute when Roncaglia fouled Williams. Aduriz, right-footed, put the spot-kick into the middle of the goal.
Both keepers were busy in the closing stages as Athletic's Sabin Merino went close with a header, Celta's Daniel Wass with a long-range shot and Williams fired at goal from the left of the box.
But Bilbao grabbed a winner three minutes into injury time through San Jose who, left-footed, found the bottom-right corner from the centre of the area after collecting Williams' header.
