Late drama as Ulloa steals a point
Almeria snatched a stoppage-time equaliser on Monday to draw 2-2 with Real Sociedad.
The hosts trailed twice on home soil before Leonardo Ulloa pounced moments from the end to steal a share of the spoils.
Sociedad will be disappointed to have seen two points, and a 100 per cent start to the season, slip through their grasp.
They needed just eight minutes to take the lead in Andalusia, with Raul Tamudo heading home a David Zurutuza cross.
Sting
Almeria, who have now drawn their opening two games of the Primera Liga season, hit back through Pablo Piatti on 21 minutes.
The visitors were controlling proceedings, though, and edged themselves back in front shortly after the half-hour mark when Francisco Sutil rifled past Diego Alvez.
That effort looked like being enough to take the points, but there was one last sting in the tail.
Ulloa stepped off the bench on 57 minutes and in the dying seconds he found himself in the right place at the right time to lash into the top corner from the centre of the box.
