Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham will be assessed ahead of Tuesday's visit of Preston.
The on-loan Chelsea striker came off in the second half of Friday's 1-1 draw with a calf problem. Yannick Bolasie is still pushing for his first Villa start after his loan move from Everton.
Strikers Scott Hogan and Keinan Davis are still out with groin problems but are slowly making progress.
Preston's Josh Harrop has been ruled out for the rest of the season. The midfielder ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in Saturday's 3-2 defeat to West Brom while helping to set up North End's goal.
He joins Billy Bodin, who suffered a similar injury in August, on the treatment table but Calum Woods (hamstring) and Michael Crowe are close to being available after their injuries. Sean Maguire has not played this season because of a hamstring problem and is still a couple of weeks away from a return.

Aston Villa have lost one of their last 17 home matches against Preston in all competitions (W11 D5), a 1-0 defeat in November 1968.
Preston have won one of their last 13 matches against Aston Villa in all competitions (D7 L5).
Aston Villa lost their last home league game against Sheffield Wednesday - they last suffered consecutive home defeats in February 2017.
Preston are winless in their last nine league games (D2 L7), losing each of their last four while conceding exactly three goals each time.
Aston Villa have won a league-high nine points from losing positions in the Championship this season.
Prutton's prediction
Preston are on a terrible run of form and Villa are inconsistent. Last time out at Villa Park, John McGinn's wonder-goal wasn't enough to beat Sheffield Wednesday, but I just think that with the way Preston are looking at this moment in time, though they are dying to get a win somewhere, I just don't think it'll come on Tuesday.
David Prutton predicts: 1-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
