Fisichella and Sutil racing next season
Force India have re-affirmed that Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil will be their drivers for the 2009 Formula One season.
The pair were confirmed in October but a new technical deal between Force India and McLaren Mercedes led to speculation of a change, with the latter's reserve driver Pedro de la Rosa testing for the Silverstone-based team last month.
Both Fisichella and Sutil promptly said they had new contracts and the team have now officially confirmed as much - Vitantonio Liuzzi also being retained as test and reserve driver.
"I firmly believe that next year will be a huge opportunity for the team," team owner Vijay Mallya said in a statement on the team's website.
"In Giancarlo, Adrian and Tonio we have a wonderful balance between experience and ambition and now complete consistency."
Force India failed to score a point this year.
