Sir Frank Williams has returned home from hospital after recovering from pneumonia.
The legendary team owner was admitted to hospital during the Italian GP weekend in early September and both the 74-year-old and daughter Claire, Williams F1's deputy team principal, had been absent from subsequent races.
But Claire Williams has confirmed her father left hospital earlier this week and has since been back to the team's Grove factory.
"I'm very pleased and happy to say he's now back home, back at the factory, with us. He came out of the hospital on Monday," she said at the unveiling of the team's 2017 driver line-up.
"As everybody is aware, he contracted pneumonia after the Italian GP and he has been in hospital ever since the start of September.
"It was a slow recovery but I'm really pleased to say he's pretty much back to the old Frank we know and love. It's lovely to have him back with us and with the team."
The 74-year-old has been a tetraplegic and confined to a wheelchair since a 1986 car crash in France.
He is one of F1's most successful owners and team principals of all time, overseeing seven Drivers' and nine Constructors' Championship successes between 1980 and 1997.
Williams are gearing up to celebrate their 40th anniversary as an F1 team next season.
