Rotterdam Ahoy to host extra night of Premier League darts in April
Dutch darts fans receive huge boost with additional night of Premier League darts
Wednesday 7 March 2018 13:12, UK
An additional Premier League darts night will be held at Rotterdam Ahoy on Wednesday April 18, following last week's cancellation in Exeter.
The season's fifth league night, planned for the Westpoint Arena on Thursday March 1, had to be cancelled following heavy snow across the UK and Storm Emma.
The planned night-five fixtures have now been moved to night 10 at the Echo Arena in Liverpool on April 5, which will now become Judgement Night as the bottom two players in the league table are eliminated.
To restore a sixth league night following Judgement Night, ahead of May's Play-Offs, the visit to Rotterdam Ahoy will now see a double-header take place.
Five fixtures will be held on Wednesday April 18 to precede the sold-out planned league night on Thursday April 19.

"It was hugely disappointing that last week's planned Premier League in Exeter had to be cancelled," said PDC Chairman Barry Hearn.
"We looked at various options, alongside our host broadcast partners Sky Sports, which would see the Unibet Premier League remain a 16-night season, and it's great that we've been able to add a second night at Rotterdam Ahoy.
"Tickets in Rotterdam have been incredibly popular since we first took the Premier League to the Netherlands in 2016, and this is another great chance for Dutch fans to see the world's best players live."
The 2018 Premier League heads to the First Direct Arena in Leeds on Thursday with coverage underway from 7pm on Sky Sports Action & Sky Sports Main Event from 9.45pm. Ten weeks of tungsten action will then continue through to the season's conclusion with the Play-Offs on May 17 at The O2 in London.
