Tuesday 27 December 2016 16:55, UK
The remaining competitors return after a three-day break for the festive period, and we resume with a double session of second-round action, live on Sky Sports Darts HD.
Austrian eighth seed Mensur Suljovic and Welsh left-hander Mark Webster kick-off Tuesday's play at Alexandra Palace before borders thrower Robert Thornton takes on Northern Irish star Daryl Gurney.
The winner of those matches will face-off against each other in the first match of Thursday's afternoon session.
Multiple major finalist Dave Chisnall meets Chris 'Hollywood' Dobey in the last match with the winner of the clash facing either Jelle Klaasen or Brendan Dolan.
Then it's the turn of the biggest stars in the sport as five-time winner Raymond van Barneveld meets Alan 'Chuck' Norris in the opening match of the night, live on Sky Sports 1 & Sky Sports Darts HD from 7.45pm, with the winner taking on former two-time champion Adrian Lewis on Wednesday evening.
World No 1 and odds-on favourite Michael van Gerwen then takes to the oche against rising star Cristo Reyes before 16-time World Champion Phil Taylor go up against Kevin Painter in a repeat of the 2004 decider.
