Gary Anderson, Phil Taylor and Michael van Gerwen all return to Grand Slam action on Monday, but eyes will be on three sudden death group stage shoot-outs.
Such is the nature of the tournament, Taylor and Anderson will take to the oche assured of their place in the second round but will want to maintain their 100 per cent record in Wolverhampton while Van Gerwen needs just a victory himself to win Group A.
The drama will come in the latter stages of the evening where Chris Dobey meets Scott Mitchell for the right to join Benito van de Pas in emerging from Group H, Nathan Derry and Glen Durrant vie for the second spot in Group E and Ian White and Daryl Fitton contest the final spot in Group D.
Kicking off the evening at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall, live on Sky Sports 2 from 7pm, will be Adrian Lewis and Van de Pas and it's Jackpot who has nothing to play for,
The two-time world champion has lost to both Dobey and Mitchell to ensure he has no chance to progress while Van de Pas has beaten them both to secure his place in the second round. But Lewis will want to end another miserable Grand Slam campaign on a high ahead of next month's World Championships.
Dobey and Mitchell meet in the sixth match of the evening knowing simply that the winner will advance - Dobey impressed in his 5-3 victory over Lewis on Sunday and has been earmarked by Taylor as one of the brightest young talents in the game, while 'Scotty Dog' Mitchell is a former BDO world champion.
Reigning and two-time defending PDC champion Anderson will aim to make it three wins from three when he takes on Alan 'Chuck' Norris.
Anderson edged out Durrant in Saturday's thrilling opening night, before a 5-0 whitewash saw off Derry while Norris was edged out by Derry on Saturday before winning just one leg in his clash with BDO No 1 Durrant.
Durrant and Derry will then battle it out in a best of nine leg shoot-out to determine who will advance to the last 16.
The only other match with little resting on it is Taylor's against the already eliminated Darren Webster, but the Power has looked full of motivation this week and will hope to add to the two 5-1 victories he has already chalked up over the weekend.
Joining Taylor will be either White or Fitton, the pair had their struggles against Taylor but edged past Webster to set up Monday night's winner take all affair which will be the final match of the evening.
And the fourth group to be decided is Group A, where no-one has yet secured their place in the second round.
All-conquering MVG needs a win to be assured of progress but a defeat to Max Hopp could open the door for a surprise exit, although he would need to suffer a big defeat to facilitate the required turnaround that would give Brendan Dolan hope.
The Irishman takes on Martin 'Wolfie' Adams knowing a win could put him through if Hopp is beaten, while defeat for the German and a win for Adams would leave second spot coming down to leg difference.
Wolfie will be determined not to leave with three defeats from three and with progress still an outside possibility the veteran five-time BDO world champion will not be underestimated.
