Conor McGregor is having his five MMA championship belts flown to Las Vegas for his fight with Floyd Mayweather on Sunday morning, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Tony McGregor, Conor's father, took to social media to announce that his son had requested he deliver his belts to him in preparation for his clash with Mayweather at the T-Mobile Arena.
"Received an official communique from the McGregor camp, deep in the Nevada desert," Tony McGregor said.
"The champ-champ has requested his belts be flown to him in USA. Roger that."
The Irish star has accumulated five title victories throughout his mixed martial arts career to date, beginning with a win over Dave Hill for the Cage Warriors Fighting Championship featherweight belt in June 2012.
Six months later, McGregor became the two-weight CWFC champion after defeating Ivan Buchinger to win the CWFC lightweight title.
The Dubliner made his debut for the UFC in 2013 and lifted his first piece of silverware in July 2015 when he stopped late replacement Chad Mendes for the interim UFC featherweight championship.
He became the undisputed UFC featherweight champion later that year with a history-making 13-second knockout victory against Jose Aldo, the quickest win in any UFC championship contest.
McGregor continued to defy expectations in November 2016 where he toppled Eddie Alvarez at Madison Square Gardens to lift the UFC lightweight belt, and become the promotion's first fighter to ever hold two championships simultaneously.
