Gennady Golovkin said he wants to put on a show for the UK fans when he fights Kell Brook in September

Gennady Golovkin is expecting Kell Brook to give him the toughest test of his unbeaten career to date.

The middleweight star and the 'Special One' went face-to-face in London on Monday for the final time until fight week, with the Sky Sports Box Office event taking place at The O2, on September 10.

Golovkin (35-0-KO32) admits he was surprised at Brook's size when they first met in New York last week and with the welterweight moving up two divisions, the WBA Super, WBO and IBF champion now knows what he is dealing with.

And with Brook (36-0-KO25) just an inch shorter at 5' 9", the unbeaten 'GGG' admitted the surprise element makes his latest challenger a serious threat.

"The first time I looked at him I thought: 'Wow! 147? No way!'," he told Sky Sports News HQ.

"He is my size, like he's at 160. I am not a big guy so it is very close for us. Right now I realise he is a true test and the biggest test for us.

"This is the biggest test for me. It is not a big difference because he is the same size, he's strong and I think he has a different boxing style and speed - but there isn't a lot of difference."
