Duo both looking for big-time return when they clash in Vegas in May

Former world champions Zab Judah and Shane Mosley will face off on May 31 in Las Vegas with the hope of facing either of the unbeaten welterweight champions Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. Both men have been welterweight champions before and both will be desperate to fight for a world title once again. Mosley, 36, has a 44-5 record with 37 knockouts and has won world title belts in three different weight classes. 'Sugar Shane' lost to unbeaten WBA champion Cotto last November, but he is keen to get beyond Judah to have a shot at a title once again. "It's extremely high stakes for Zab and myself in this fight," Mosley said. "We have similar styles in terms of speed and power. It will come down to who's the hungrier fighter. "I am hungry for this victory and confident I'll get it."

Judah challenge

Judah lost a unanimous decision to Mayweather in 2006 and also suffered defeat to Cotto - an 11th round stoppage by the Puerto Rican last June. The 30-year-old, who is 36-5 with 25 knockouts, knows that he is putting his career on the line by taking on Mosley in the hope of making it back to the big time. "I'm willing to gamble everything on this fight and I know I have to win it to set my career back on the winning path," Judah said. "I respect Shane as a great fighter but I know he can't go 12 fast rounds with me. "I plan to take him into deep waters and be the first one to stop him."
