Is Amir Khan or Kell Brook more likely to fight Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao next? The Panel discuss the British duo's chances...
Carl Froch
I would like to see Mayweather come over here and fight Kell Brook. I've got no interest in the Khan fight. Fighting is all about levels and he has been tested a couple of times - not even at that level - but he's been banged out. He's had a couple of decent wins but I just think either of them, certainly Mayweather, is a mis-match.
Brook is far more exciting, has got more punch power and can take a shot better than Khan. I just can't see him getting Mayweather here or over there.
Johnny Nelson
Brook would be the more likely opponent in England. Khan is too well known in the United States, especially to Pacquiao.
They know about Khan's pace and movement, he's just too much. When you are the wrong side of 30, you want someone who you can control, who is not too busy, not too fast. Style-wise, I think they would look at Brook and think he is more suitable, but that's because they are not familiar with him.
They would underestimate Brook's power - that power in a simple jab, his movement, his elusiveness. Therefore, he would get the opportunity because he's the IBF champion.
Glenn McCrory
If Manny gets beaten, then he will be looking to make a comeback against someone with a name like Brook, particularly because he's got a world title. I think he is a more likely option than Khan.
You have to look at it in a business sense and I think that is where Khan is letting himself down by not taking the Brook fight. Kell is world champion and he needs to keep that because it's a bargaining tool.
Kell against Manny I think is a fabulous fight. It depends what is left of Pacquiao after the Mayweather fight and how much is this going to take out of him.
Jim Watt
Brook would need a really big name on his record before he would be considered for either Mayweather or Pacquiao - someone like Brandon Rios or Juan Manuel Marquez.
Khan as a future opponent seems unlikely, because for his own reasons Mayweather doesn't seem to want to fight Khan, but he could be a future opponent for Pacquiao. You remember Mayweather held a poll as to whether he should box Khan or Maidana. Khan was the one who came out on top, but he fought Maidana. I think Amir's speed and his style would give him problems that a 38-year-old could do without.
Jamie Moore
I think Amir Khan brings a lot of money to the table and that would be one of the main reasons why he would be in a good shout with facing the winner. Fingers crossed, Amir can beat Chris Algieri and look good doing it, which would keep him next in line.
I think Kell needs two or three defences to put his feet under the table before he starts talking about the elite in the division. He definitely has got the potential to be up there, but let's showcase his talent and give him a reason to be challenging someone like Mayweather or Pacquiao.
Paulie Malignaggi
I will be honest, I think both guys present too much danger. Mayweather and Pacquiao won't fight them. I don’t see it happening.
I think if Floyd reaches the crescendo and wins this fight, I think you might see Floyd more so leaning towards retirement, as opposed to Pacquiao. If he wants to fight, he will fight everybody. I think if there’s a shot for Amir or any of them, I think it will be Pacquiao. I don't see Floyd taking on another tough challenge. He has taken on plenty of them and will probably be looking more at going off into the sunset.
