Juergen Braehmer hopes to defend his world title in explosive fashion when he faces Robin Krasniqi on Saturday night.
The 36-year-old German has not suffered a defeat for over six years as he prepares to put his WBA light-heavyweight title on the line against Krasniqi in Germany, live on Sky Sports.
His most recent challenger Pawel Glazewski did not last a round in December and Braehmer is hoping for another victory inside the distance.
“Krasniqi is a young ambitious fighter who wants to take my title away from me, but that’s not going to happen,” he said. “As always, I will defeat my opponent and retain my title.
“Sometimes a single punch is all it takes. Whether this comes in the first round or twelfth round, it’s impossible to predict at this level. But when the opportunity does come, I will take it.”

Krasniqi’s sole defeat came on points against former WBO champion Nathan Cleverly and he is determined to seize his second shot at a world crown.
“This is the most important fight of my life," he said. "A win on Saturday would change everything and I can write sports history.
"I would be the first professional boxing world champion from Munich and Bavaria and also in the countries where I come from, Kosovo and Albania.
Asked about the Cleverly defeat, Krasniqi said: “That opportunity may have come to soon for me. But now, I’m ready for the perfect match.”
