Martin Rogan has reportedly rejected the opportunity to fight British and Commonwealth champion Tyson Fury. The 40-year-old cabbie was ringside when Fury took the titles from Dereck Chisora last month, and subsequently said he would 'knock him out and beat him senseless'. However, Fury's promoter Mick Hennessy says he offered the former Commonwealth title holder good money to fight Fury in Belfast, only for the veteran to turn it down. "I can't believe that Martin has turned down the offer to fight Tyson," said Hennessy. "He was given all he wanted - one of the best purses he's ever had, a chance to fight for both titles and fighting in his home city. "In the end Martin talked a good fight with Tyson but that was all, he just didn't want to fight him and that's a shame." The giant Fury has found it difficult get opponents in the ring on his ascent to the top of the domestic tree, and second choice - the unbeaten Canadian Neven Pajkic - has also apparently rejected the fight.
