Joshua Buatsi would welcome a grudge fight and admits he will not stand for any social media disrespect from his light-heavyweight rivals.

The 24-year-old will be seeking his fourth professional win on the undercard as Lawrence Okolie settles his feud with fellow cruiserweight Isaac Chamberlain at The O2 on February 3, live on Sky Sports.

Buatsi could soon be on a collision course with some of the domestic talent in his division, which includes Anthony Yarde and Jake Ball, although he is yet to be called out by a potential opponent.

"It would be exciting," said Buatsi when asked about a future grudge fight. "The thing about me, I don't really start beef online.

"Someone is going to have to call me out or something, because I always find it online. The one thing is that I won't be disrespected, so if it happens, it happens, and it will be good. It will be entertaining.

If someone gets a bit hostile, or tries to get a bit funny or disrespect, then we have something on the table.

"Guys can call me out, but I'm just going to keep climbing up and do what I've got to do and deal with whoever is in my way. But if someone gets a bit hostile, or tries to get a bit funny or disrespect, then we have something on the table."

Okolie and Chamberlain are putting their unbeaten records on the line, with opinion split about which London cruiserweight will emerge victorious next month.

Tensions can often boil over as bitter foes are brought together in the media spotlight, but Buatsi insists he would relish the opportunity to defend his reputation.

Buatsi said: "There's one thing being in a fight and there's another thing if people are coming and then it's like 'this person or that person is going to win', and the whole nation is captivated by it and curious as to how it's going to pan out.

"It's one thing being in a normal fight. It's another being in a grudge match. For me the door's open, if there's anyone that going to have a grudge match with me, let's do this.

"I'm looking forward to it, also throwing tables might be another one that is yet to come, but I don't think I'll be the one throwing them. It creates excitement and it makes people look forward to it."
