Remember Marco Antonio Barrera's first fight on British soil? Well, this week's Ringside Rewind will interest you...
We take you back to 1999, when the Mexican legend was over here to pick up the vacant WBO super-bantamweight strap he had owned for the last four years.
In his way stood Paul Lloyd, the Merseysider known as the 'Livewire', with none other than the Royal Albert Hall as the venue.
Barrera was already on the rise and Lloyd had already lost an IBF challenge but few expected such a sensational outcome. If you remember the explosive encounter you will know what happened, but if you don't, watch the clip at the top of the article.
It came before the 'Baby Faced Assassin' took on Naseem Hamed and of course Amir Khan, but with fellow countryman Rey Vargas arriving in the UK to challenge our own Gavin McDonnell for the WBC strap at 122lbs, Ringside Rewind will remind us all just what threats the Mexicans can pose.
To watch the clip simply hit play at the top of the article.
Watch Gavin McDonnell vs Rey Vargas from the Hull Ice Arena, live from 8pm, Saturday, on Sky Sports 2.
