Gervonta Davis is promoted by Floyd Mayweather

On Saturday night, a star was born in the shape of new super-featherweight IBF champion Gervonta Davis. Watch what all the fuss is about.

Davis (17-0-KO16) stopped Puerto Rico's Jose Pedraza in the seventh round to claim the title after producing a hugely impressive performance well beyond his years.

Davis finished the fight against the previously unbeaten champion with a huge left hand, but it was the dazzling hand speed and fan-friendly southpaw style that really caught the eye.

The 22-year-old American is promoted by Floyd Mayweather and it is easy to see why the promoter rates his protegee so highly as he wowed the crowd with an array of spiteful shots.
