Trainer Joe Gallagher admits he is losing sleep due to the excitement of Anthony Crolla v Jorge Linares on Saturday night, live on Sky Sports 2.
WBA world lightweight king Crolla (31-4-3-KO13) battles three-weight world champion Linares (40-3-KO27) for divisional supremacy in Manchester and it's another glitzy night for Gallagher, who has only recently returned from Liam Smith's world title clash with Saul Alvarez in Dallas.
Gallagher told Sky Sports News HQ: "I'm really looking forward to it. On the plane back from Dallas, I thought I'd be able to sleep but I couldn't. The butterflies are going and the excitement.
"You can feel that as fight week has gone on in Manchester, it's got busier and more people are talking about it. It's a great turnout today and it'll be another great fight - the No 1 and 2 in the world against each other.
"It's a tough task. I view Jorge Linares as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. We've got our work cut out but I feel Anthony's momentum, self-belief, desire and the crowd behind him will see him over the finish line.
"Jorge has fought all over the world and experienced everything but here in Manchester we do things a little bit different. Ricky Hatton's opponents soon found out what the Manchester crowd was all about.
"Wouldn't it be amazing if Anthony pulls this off and you have him and Tyson Fury, both Ring magazine champions, both No 1 in the world in their weight classes and both from Manchester?"
Aiding Crolla's bid for superstardom is not Gallagher's only job of the evening - several more of his stable feature on a packed undercard.
He added: "I've got four good fighters [on the night]. Marcus Morrison, British champion Hosea Burton, Callum Johnson fighting for the Commonwealth title and then the creme de la creme in Anthony 'Million Dollar' Crolla."
Watch Crolla v Linares live on Sky Sports 2 from 7.30pm this Saturday
