Jeff Hardy reigned supreme in the Fatal Four Way clash on SmackDown and will now face Triple H at No Mercy for the title.

Jeff Hardy sets up No Mercy title shot

Not even an unprovoked attack by Vladimir Kozlov could dampen Jeff Hardy's spirits as The Legend Thriller powered his way to a title shot against Triple H at No Mercy. The latest SmackDown edition in Milwaukee saw an intriguing Fatal Four Way Match between Hardy, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin, MVP and The Brian Kendrick. All four men were vying for the same prize - a shot at The Game's recently defended WWE Championship. A topsy-turvy match-up eventually saw Hardy deliver the fatal blow as he landed a devastating double Swanton Bomb onto both The Brian Kendrick and Shelton Benjamin. However, just as The Legend Thriller began celebrating his victory, The Moscow Mauler made his way into the ring before delivering a brutal neck-breaker on the new No.1 Contender. Kozlov's wish for better competition now looks certain to be granted as Hardy will almost certainly be looking for revenge.
