Sergio Henao survived another Alberto Contador onslaught to win the 75th edition of the Paris-Nice, giving Team Sky their fifth title in six years in the Race to the Sun.
The Colombian won by just two seconds, salvaging his yellow jersey in the final stage after Trek Segafredo rider Contador pulled away 50km from the finish.
Contador picked up two seconds in time bonuses at the intermediate sprint and another six by taking second place in the eighth stage behind fellow Spaniard David De La Cruz [Quick Step Floors].
Henao, who started the day with a 31-second advantage over Contador, finished finished the stage in 12th place, 21 seconds after his rival. Ireland's Dan Martin completed the final podium
Team Sky's Geraint Thomas beat Contador last year to win Paris-Nice by four seconds. Henao's triumph sees him become the second Colombian to win the race after Carlos Betancur in 2014.
