Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker will hold further talks over his future after he returns from international duty with Belgium.

The 22-year-old impressed in both legs of his side's Europa League semi-final against Manchester United, scoring a late equaliser in the first leg 1-1 draw.

Dendoncker, predominately a defensive midfielder, said talks between his agent and club would take place soon, which was confirmed by manager Herman Van Holsbeeck in the Belgian press.

He told Het Nieuwsblad: "In the next few days we will talk with Leander's entourage. We want to keep him another year. We do not need the money."

But, for now, Dendoncker has his focus on international matters, as part of Belgium's squad for a friendly against the Czech Republic and a World Cup European Qualifier in Estonia.

He says being with the national team is giving him ambition, adding: "I am trying to do my best. I am trying to work hard every day. Being with these stars is a great learning process."
