Kalala and Mason on target to sink local rivals
Ryan Mason's goal shortly before half-time earned Yeovil a 2-1 win and bragging rights over Exeter.
The Glovers took the lead in the sixth-minute when JP Kalala floated a free-kick into the box and centre-half Stefan Stam got his head to the ball before goalkeeper Paul Jones.
City were soon producing smart attacking moves and it was no surprise when they scored a 22nd minute equaliser.
Ryan Harley crossed from the left and former Yeovil man Adam Stansfield tucked the ball past shot-stopper Alex McCarthy's left hand.
But after 41 minutes Yeovil regained the lead. A shot by Sam Williams was blocked and the ball rebounded kindly for Mason to knock in from close range.
The second half was more even and Yeovil should have increased their lead. The best chance came after 85 minutes when Williams had a clear run at goal but shot straight at the legs of Jones.
