On-loan Huddersfield defender Neo Eccleston earned Barrow a first away win since December in a 1-0 triumph at Harrogate.
The 20-year-old right-back's first senior goal saw the Bluebirds end an 11-game run without a victory on their travels, as Stephen Clemence's men also made it five wins from six games in all competitions this term.
Barrow were by far the brighter team during the opening 45 minutes and were puzzlingly denied a half-time lead when captain Niall Canavan's header from Robbie Gotts' corner was ruled out by an assistant referee's flag.

But the Bluebirds eventually did forge ahead - from another corner - in the 74th minute. This time Gotts' inswinging delivery from the right was headed in at the near post by the spring-heeled Eccleston.
Moments later, Harrogate managed their first effort on target but away keeper Paul Farman displayed impressive reflexes to keep out Matty Foulds' close-range shot.
Farman also made two excellent stoppage-time saves to deny home substitute Stephen Dooley, leaving the Sulphurites still waiting for a first home goal of the season following four-and-a-half hours of football at Wetherby Road.
