Heerenveen missed the chance to close the gap on the European places in the Eredivisie as they were held to a goalless draw by rock-bottom FC Dordecht.
Dordecht beat Heerenveen 2-1 away on the opening day of the season, one of only two wins all campaign, and they were able to frustrate de Superfriezen once again despite losing goalkeeper Filip Kurto to injury early in the second half.
The result leaves Heerenveen seventh, six points behind Feyenoord in third, while Dordecht remain dead last with 11 points from 20 matches.
Eredivisie leaders Feyenoord face Ado den Haag on Sunday while second-placed Ajax travel to Vitesse Arnhem.
