Hearts moved three points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership with a 2-1 victory over Aberdeen at Tynecastle.

Two goals in seven first-half minutes did the damage, with Arnaud Djoum heading home Callum Morrison's cross for the 36th-minute opener and Steven Naismith doubling the advantage from the penalty spot after he had been fouled in the area.

The visitors pulled a goal back with a 55th minute Gary Mackay-Steven penalty, awarded after Niall McGinn had been brought down.

Celtic climbed above Hibernian into second with a 4-2 success at Parkhead.

Florian Kamberi gave Hibs hope 18 minutes into the second half - only for Odsonne Edouard to make it 3-1 20 minutes from time.

Martin Boyle again brought the visitors to within a goal in the 73rd minute but Edouard's second two minutes from time ended Hibs boss Neil Lennon's hopes of taking something from his former team.
