Jason Demetriou, Harry Kyprianou, John White and Tom Hopper are in contention to return to Southend's line-up for their Sky Bet League One clash against Coventry.
Demetriou and Kyprianou missed last weekend's win at Gillingham as they were both on international duty with Cyprus. Fellow defender White and forward Hopper have shaken off their respective hamstring and ankle injuries, while winger Harry Bunn has taken part in training this week following a foot complaint.
Luke Hyam is making tentative steps towards a comeback following an ankle issue that has sidelined him since August 21, but the fixture against the Sky Blues comes too soon for the former Ipswich midfielder.
Coventry winger Jodi Jones will travel to Roots Hall after missing last week's victory over Wycombe because of illness. The absence disrupted Jones' progress following his comeback from a knee injury, with the midfielder limited to two substitute appearances so far this term.
Amadou Bakayoko is once again pushing for a starting berth after following up his brace against Charlton earlier this month with a double in an under-23s fixture on Monday. Full-back Jack Grimmer may be available after returning to training this week after more than a month on the sidelines with a calf injury.
