England and Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley was subjected to an aggravated burglary at his home on Friday night.
Cleverley's house just outside Altrincham was broken into while he was inside with his nanny and baby daughter, Greater Manchester Police have confirmed.
Sky Sports has learned that four masked men smashed through the front door and threatened Cleverley, who took them to the safe and handed over two watches worth an estimated £60,000.
The watches had serial numbers and were personalised so it is understood Cleverley is confident the robbers will be apprehended.
Cleverley's wife was away on holiday and not at the property.
A statement from Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 8pm on Friday October 2, police were called to an address in Hale Barns following a report of a break-in.
"Officers attended and discovered a man, a woman and an infant who had been the victims of an aggravated burglary.
"None of the victims were injured. An investigation was subsequently launched and is ongoing."
