Jurgen Klopp has hit back at criticism of Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.
Karius' performances have come under fire from a number of pundits - including Gary and Phil Neville, as well as former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher.
Karius reacted to analysis of his performances by accepting Carragher's verdict, but dismissed the comments made by Gary Neville.
Klopp agrees with his player and says Gary Neville, who will be a guest on Sunday Supplement ahead of Manchester City v Arsenal this weekend, struggled to judge players when he was head coach of Valencia.
"He showed he struggled with the job to judge players so why do we let him talk about players on television?" Klopp said.
"I don't listen to them. I am pretty sure Carra [Jamie Carragher] doesn't speak too positive about Manchester United players.
"Obviously the Neville brothers don't like Liverpool, I have no problem and if they can cause bigger problems then we have already, they have tried. By the way, you can tell him I am not on Twitter so if he wants to tell me something Twitter doesn't help.
"Pundits are former players who have completely forgot how it felt to be criticised."
Gary Neville responded to Klopp's comments on Twitter, saying: "Haha. I'm not a chef but I know a good steak!"
Karius, a £4.7m summer signing from Mainz, was subjected to another round of criticism for his performance in Sunday's 2-2 draw with West Ham at Anfield, with Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher suggesting the German goalkeeper's wrists are not strong enough.
That performance came after a mistake late on at Bournemouth last weekend that cost his side a point at the Vitality Stadium.
Klopp refused to be drawn into the debate, but did have some words in response to the criticism
"I think you are person number seven who has asked me about this," he said.
"Maybe you are all blind because everybody is asking me about this situation and I have only seen it one time - during the game.
"Things like this happen. With all goals we can do a surgery to pick apart what we can do and what happened and I accept this.
"But goals like this happen. We have to find the guy who doesn't jump or whatever. But it was brilliant from [Dimitri] Payet.
"I saw him training before the game and he missed all of his free kicks. I was hoping he would do that in the game too."
Watch Gary Neville on Sunday Supplement before Manchester City v Arsenal on Sky Sports 1 HD from 9am on Sunday, December 18.
