Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has strengthened his squad by recalling forward Sheyi Ojo from his loan spell at Wolves.
Klopp has seen his squad depleted by injuries, with the centre-backs hardest hit, and there has been speculation that a number of Liverpool players could be heading back to Anfield with their loan stints cut short.
Ojo joined Sky Bet Championship side Wolves on a season-long loan on August 3, the same day he signed a new contract with the Reds.
The 18-year-old has made 19 appearances - seven of them starts - for Wolves and scored three goals, but has been short of action in recent weeks and has played only two minutes as a substitute in the last seven matches.
The England U19 international has not featured for Liverpool's first team, but did score in a pre-season friendly against Swindon and was included in the squad for the summer tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett praised Ojo following his early departure from Molineux.
"We thank Sheyi for what he has done for us and we thank Liverpool as well," Jackett told his club's official website.
"He had a big effect for us coming on as an impact substitute. He is still young and I think he has a big future and with time and experience will go on to become a very good player.
"I am sure the six months he has had with us will be put to good use and he will go on and progress his career.
"We have seen Jordan Graham emerge in his position and for everyone concerned I think this is the best option.
"Sheyi can now either progress with Liverpool's U21s or go out and get a loan spell where he has more chance of playing regularly. We wish him all the best."
