Millwall's Shaun Williams secured runner-up spot after levelling the scores from 12 yards during a 2-1 win against Wigan, while also taking more touches, attempting more passes and creating more chances than any team-mate.
Preston's Callum Robinson (No 3) soared into the top 10 after netting twice during a 4-3 win against Brentford, while Swansea's Bersant Celina (No 4) created five chances and sealed his side's 3-1 win over Blackburn.
Sheffield United's Ollie Norwood (No 5) was back among the top performers after topping his side's stats for touches, passes and chances created in a 1-1 draw with Stoke - with Joe Allen (No 8) grabbing a late equaliser for the Potters.
Derby's Jack Marriott (No 9) maintained his ascent up the table with a goal and assist in a 4-1 win at West Brom, while Leeds' Liam Cooper (No 10) sealed a 2-0 win over rock-bottom Ipswich to send his side to the Championship summit.
