Wayne Rooney moved to second on his own in the all-time list of Premier League top-scorers by netting the winner in Manchester United’s 2-1 victory over Swansea City on Saturday.
Rooney is now on 188 goals, one ahead of third-placed Andrew Cole, but still 72 adrift of first-placed Alan Shearer, who is on 260.
Shearer is also still far ahead of Rooney in terms of strike-rate. Whereas Rooney's goals have come in 423 appearances, Shearer achieved his total in 441 games.
