Phillipe Bianchi, the father of the late Jules, sat down with Sky Sports News HQ's Craig Slater to explain why the family are initiating legal action against several F1 stakeholders.
Nearly a year after Jules succumbed to the injuries sustained in his 2014 Japanese GP accident, Phillipe says F1 drivers are "afraid" to give their true opinion about his son's death and that mistakes were made in the conduct of the wet race.
He also questions the composition of the FIA Accident Panel which looked into the Suzuka accident.
Phillipe says his son knew the risks associated with F1 and raced because it "was his passion".
