Gennady Golovkin has confirmed he'll be ringside at Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez v Amir Khan with a view to facing the winner.

Canelo (46-1-1-KO32) defends his WBC world middleweight title against Khan (31-3-KO19) at a catchweight of 155lbs in Las Vegas on Saturday, and WBA Super and IBF king Golovkin (35-0-KO32) will be an interested spectator.

The Kazakh said: "I'm excited to attend the Canelo v Khan fight to witness this great matchup of size and power vs. speed and movement."

Golovkin has thrown down several direct challenges to Alvarez in the past - and current WBO holder Billy Joe Saunders is also in the equation.

Khan, who is a former world super-lightweight champion, recently told behindthegloves.com that he would have no problem facing Golovkin if he upsets the odds by beating Alvarez.
