Super League: Wakefield Wildcats v Wigan Warriors
Last Updated: 22/06/14 12:47pm
Wakefield host Super League leaders Wigan on Sunday looking for a second win in a row to climb further away from relegation danger.
The Wildcats currently sit eight points ahead of 13th-placed Bradford following their 18-10 victory over rock-bottom London last Friday.
But it will be tough against a Warriors side who bounced back from their Challenge Cup quarter-final disappointment against Castleford with successive home league wins over the Tigers and Widnes, triumphing 46-6 and 48-4 respectively.
Wakefield's new boss James Webster, who recently replaced Richard Agar at the helm, knows his side still desperately need points.
“We are well and truly nowhere near safe,” he said. "I look at Bradford's squad and they have got a run in them at some point.
"There was no talk about Bradford's points appeal result in the week and I'm past looking at what they're doing.
"Like I say, I'm just relieved and happy for the boys (after the win over London) because they showed some true grit."

Wakefield centre Reece Lyne is set to return from a two-month injury absence while prop forwards Andy Raleigh and Richard Moore are also back in the reckoning, replacing Matty Wildie and Jarrod Sammut in the squad.
