Lee Radford disappointed Hull FC could not end season with a victory

Hull coach Lee Radford felt a below-par first-half display was to blame for their season-ending 28-24 home defeat to Catalans Dragons
Tom Lineham scored four tries for Hull on his final appearance before leaving for Warrington, but the hosts could not quite recover, having trailed 20-0 midway through the first half.
Radford said: "I would have loved to have signed the season off with a result, but that wasn't the case today.
"The effort was faultless again, but we probably didn't start with the intent we should have early in the game. That gave us too much of a hill to climb.
"You can't fault their effort for each other, they have been a really tight group throughout the season.
"Where we have been deficient throughout the year is our skill set, and hopefully our recruitment for 2016 will sort out those problems. There were too many fundamental errors in the first half."
It was just a second away win of the season for Catalans and coach Laurent Frayssinous was pleased to end with a victory.
And Frayssinous was particularly happy for second rower Elliott Whitehead, who scored a try and created another in his final match before leaving.
Frayssinous said: "It was pleasing to pick up a win to end the season in the right manner. We have been criticised because of our poor away record, which is fair.
"But today we had six reserve grade players and still picked up the victory, and credit to the boys for showing the desire. I'm happy we finished the year with a very good performance.
"The most important thing was to win and there are some players who are leaving the club who worked hard today.
"Elliott will be a massive loss and that is the same for Benjamin Garcia, Scott Dureau and Ian Henderson."
