Harlequins captain Rob Purdham will make his return to rugby league at Hull KR on Sunday.
The 30-year-old England international was granted compassionate leave following the death of his older brother Garry, who was among the 12 victims of Derrick Bird in the Cumbria shooting tragedy earlier this month.
The tough-tackling loose forward has missed Quins' last two matches - the 42-22 home defeat to Leeds and 50-22 victory over Crusaders - after returning to the family home near Whitehaven.
He was a pall-bearer at his brother's funeral last week but he resumed training with his club on Tuesday and has been included in coach Brian McDermott's 19-man squad for Sunday's game.
Harlequins also include prop forward David Mills, who is on loan from Hull KR but has missed the Londoners' last two matches with a broken hand, as well as local youngsters Lamont Bryan and Ben Bolger in the absence of Luke Gale, Ryan Esders and Luke Williamson.
Play-off hopes
Hull KR are aiming to do an engage Super League double over Quins and boost their play-off hopes.
Justin Morgan's side thrashed the Londoners 50-12 on Easter Monday and the Rovers boss is wanting more of the same from his eighth-placed side.
Rovers go into the game on the back of 35-16 defeat at the hands of Warrington last time but can take confidence from the fact they have won their last three home games.
Morgan has recalled second rower Matt Cook following the loss of Jason Netherton with a calf injury and he has also included youngsters Frankie Mariano and Scott Taylor in his 19-man squad.
The Rovers coach told the club's official website: "We were very focussed in that first game (against Quins) and we were ruthless on the day. We need to do that again. We can't be lazy and we can't be loose.
"Quins are a team that throw plenty at you. Luke Dorn is doing a good job for them and the combination of Gale, Orr and Randle controls a lot of what they do.
"They are quite happy to chance their arm. We've got to contain that and be aggressive in our defence."
