Tom Hemingway could step into the breach but he may be needed to play at hooker if Ryan Hudson fails to recover from a collar-bone injury.
To make matters worse, the Giants have also lost prop Paul Jackson with an eye injury.

Lamont Bryan and Adam Janowski keep their places after making their debuts in last week's fantastic win over current leaders Leeds.
But the Londoners are still without captain Rob Purdham and winger Rikki Sheriffe.
